  Formal 指的是正式的，規范的，官方的

  比如：

  A formal application 正式申請

  A formal occasion 正式場合

  A formal announcement 官方申明

  其實公司的正式員工就是長期工作那一撥人，所以他們其實叫 permanent employees.

  a. 員工終身的，長期的

  例：Because of the excellent performance during probationary period, he became a permeant employee. 由于在試用期良好的表現他成為了公司的正式員工。

  b. 永久的，長期的

  例：Prolonged exposure to the sun can cause permanent skin damage.長時間暴曬會對皮膚造成永久性傷害。
